This patch is from the John Lee Wilson Collection that was purchased by George Egolf then added to George's Collection. It was used in the production of Britton & Washington's Patch Identification book titled U.S. Military Patches Of The United States Armed Forces. This exact patch is shown on page 47, bottom row 2nd from left. John Lee photographed his collection in the early 1970's. You get the patch and the photo showing provenance. There are different dates hand written on the backs of the photos indicating the year the patch was collected by John Lee. 1st two images are of the patch. 3rd Image is the patch, the patch shown in the book and the photo taken by John Lee. 4th image is of the photo.
